- Great learning experience. Review by Tom

Rating I’m so glad I discovered this training. I’ve been struggling to master SketchUp for a couple of weeks through YouTube videos. I stumbled on Bob’s training video in my search for more. What a bargain. If you follow along and duplicate all his moves, it’s like attending a two day, hands on seminar. I almost chose the advanced lesson which would have been a mistake. He only spends the minimal time on the basics, and then it’s off to designing and creating a couple of rather detailed and realistic projects which could actually be built. He also shows how to make changes and use the software to create materials lists. The pace is fast, no time is wasted. You must follow along duplicating his moves to understand and you will find yourself pausing and backing up a lot. He’s an excellent instructor, and I think his voice is fine, in fact one of the strengths of the video. His narration is calm and very clear, easy to understand. I can’t wait for part 2.

I found the tutorial fairly well done. But the person teaching it is very dry and monotone. One thing that was nearly intolerable for me was listening to his saliva. He has some major pasties and you can hear saliva in every command and period. I had to adjust the volume so I could make out the words just barely, and then I'd hear his mouth much less.

- Great Tutorial for Woodworkers Review by Ron Michaelsen
-
Bob did a great job of teaching how to use this drawing program. Most tutorials are geared toward architecture. This series is perfect for woodworkers. I highly recommend both Sketchup and this series of lessons for anyone who wants to learn how to use Sketchup to draw their work first. It is far easier to make mistakes and correct them on the computer!

- Bob's a great teacher Review by CQ

Bob Lang is the ideal teacher for this. His instructions are simple, easy to follow, fascinating and devoid of any narcissistic nonsense. I took some of the Lynda.com lessons in sketchup, but this is much more valuable for woodworking. Well worth the money.
